The Iguassu Falls Golf Club was designed by renowned American architect Erik Larsen, of Rec-Creation.
Iguassu Falls Golf Club
The name Iguassu Falls Golf Club is a tribute to the Falls. The 18-hole, par-72 course was built with the aim of becoming a reference in Latin America. The entire course has Bermuda grass and Tifdwarf greens, which are very fast and uniform. The project was designed by American architect Erik Larsen, one of the world's leading names in the field, after almost 30 years working at the Arnold Palmer Design Company.
Larsen prepared a route with:
- 7096 yards from the black tee
- 6725 yards from the blue tee
- 6025 yards from the white tee
- 5287 yards from the red tee
The fairways are very wide, with bunkers strategically positioned to make golfers think twice before teeing off on several holes. The greens are small and require precision on approach shots.
