  • 1. What is MTur Ordinance No. 28/2025?

    MTur Ordinance No. 28/2025 is a regulation issued by the Ministry of Tourism that sets out procedures for guests’ check-in, stay and check-out at accommodation establishments. Its purpose is to ensure transparency, comfort and sanitary safety during the stay.

  • 2. What are the check-in and check-out times?

    In exercising the discretion granted by the Ordinance, the following guest check-in and check-out times have been established for all hotels in the group:


  •  Check-in: 2 p.m.


  •  Check-out: 12 p.m.

  • 3. Does the daily rate cover 24 hours of accommodation?

    Yes. Each daily rate covers 24 hours, counted from the previously established check-in time indicated above.


    Within this period, up to 3 hours may be allocated to cleaning, housekeeping and preparing the room, at no additional cost to the guest; this does not constitute an extension of the stay.

  • 4. Why isn’t the daily-rate period counted from the guest’s actual arrival time?

    Because accommodation is organized around standardized, predetermined check-in and check-out times, allowing us to schedule cleaning, maintenance and the preparation of rooms for incoming guests.


    For this reason, the Ordinance requires accommodation establishments to set the check-in time in advance, making it the starting point of the daily rate regardless of the guest’s actual arrival time.


    Late arrival is at the guest’s discretion and does not entitle the guest to an extension of the check-out time, ensuring operational predictability and appropriate cleaning conditions.

  • 5. Can I opt out of room cleaning to extend my stay?

    Yes. During their stay, guests may choose to forgo room cleaning and housekeeping if they wish.


    However, between stays (that is, between one guest’s departure and another guest’s arrival), the hotel is required to thoroughly clean the room as an essential sanitary safety measure, ensuring suitable conditions for all guests.

  • 6. Can I check in early or check out late?

    Check-in before 2 p.m. (early check-in) and check-out after 12 p.m. (late check-out) are subject to availability. If available, an additional charge may apply, which will always be communicated to the guest in advance.

  • 7. How will I be informed about the hotel’s hours and services?

    Information about check-in and check-out times and housekeeping services is provided to guests through the hotel’s communication channels, such as the reservation process, informational materials and front desk assistance, as applicable, to ensure clarity and an appropriate experience throughout the stay.
